SMF School Board - Election Platform Summary

 

OBJECTIVES:

1. As a board member, I will be a good steward of your tax dollars.

2. Champion of Parents Rights

3. All students' curriculum will be enhanced by including civics, geography, cursive writing, and foreign language skill (starting in 2nd grade), with a core focus on critical thinking and problem-solving.

4. All teachers will feel safe to speak out without fear of retaliation.

5. All administration members will treat their fellow teachers and supplemental staff with respect and professionalism.

6. All students will be in a safe and secure environment.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor in Education from Indiana University

• 30+ years experience as an independent business owner

• 25+ years of experience as a coach for boys and girls youth to semi-pro sports

• 23+ year Stow resident who is proud of his community and wants to continue to see it flourish

• 3 years of experience as a high school teacher

• Host family to many foreign exchange students through the Rotary Club

• Member of Stow-Munroe Falls Booster Club

• Past member of Jaycees

• Past board member of Stow Youth Baseball and Stow Lacrosse Club
